Installation Instructions:
“To install the firmware upgrade, please extract the *.zip file and save/copy the install.img file onto a USB storage device. Insert the USB Storage device onto the MediaGate. Now startup the MediaGate and then go into the MediaGate “Setup” menu, next select “System’, then “System Reinstall”, and finally this will automatically restart the MediaGate, and start the firmware upgrade installation.
PLEASE DO NOT TURN OFF THE MEDIAGATE AT THIS TIME, DOING SO WILL CORRUPT AND DAMAGE THE MEDIAGATE MAKING IT UNUSABLE.
Installation of the firmware should take approximately 3-5 minutes. Installation Complete dialog will appear once installation has been completed, the unit will self reboot in approximately 5-10 seconds after.
