Installation Instructions

“To install the firmware upgrade, please extract the *.zip file and save/copy the upgrade.bin file onto a USB storage device. Insert the USB Storage device onto the MediaGate. Now startup the MediaGate and then go into the MediaGate “Setup Main Menu”, next select “Version’, then “Firmware Upgrade”, and finally choose “USB Upgrade”. You will then be prompted, and asked to “Upgrade now?” select “Yes” to proceed. DO NOT POWER OFF THE DEVICE and DO NOT REMOVE THE USB DEVICE until the Firmware Upgrade is completed. A successful firmware upgrade should take less than 3 minutes”.
